hk-photo_bw_med.jpgHelen Kenwright writes hopeful speculative and queer fiction, and is currently working on a fantasy novel with steampunk and solarpunk elements, about history, humanity and unexpected consequences.

Helen has an MA with distinction in Creative Writing from York St John University, and runs the Writing Tree, an organisation offering online creative writing tuition and support.

She also works as a creative writing tutor, including teaching for Converge, a project at York St John University which offers educational opportunities for people who use mental health services.

Helen’s publications include ‘Smoke’ in the anthology ‘Forest’, ‘Seeds of White Water‘ on the Terra Two Archive and ‘Women of White Water’ in  ‘Glass and Gardens: Solarpunk Summers’.  Her winning entry in the @SFFiction competition is published in Serious Flash Fiction 4.
